Holts + Tory Burch + FEED

“Looking for the perfect spring tote? Holt Renfrew, FEED and Tory Burch have partnered to create a limited-edition, worldwide-exclusive tote to benefit the FEED Foundation and the Tory Burch Foundation. ‘I am so thrilled to partner with FEED on this initiative,’ says Tory Burch CEO and designer Tory Burch. ‘I have always admired the organization’s mission to help children around the world. When this opportunity came up we didn’t have to think twice—the collaboration between Holt Renfrew, FEED, our brand and our foundation was a natural fit from the beginning.’

A stunning spring tote with a philanthropic twist, now that’s feel good fashion at it’s finest! ‘This bag is a fashionable do-gooder’s dream come true,’ said FEED co-founder Lauren Bush Lauren.

‘The story behind this exclusive product is as exceptional as the tote itself. Holt Renfrew is proud to bring this project to life and to support such important causes,’ said Alexandra Weston, Holt Renfrew’s Director of Brand Strategy.

The bags are available for purchase starting today at holtrenfrew.com and in Holt Renfrew stores across Canada May 10, so get yours now and help change the world one tote at a time. Also, please join us at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street on May 10 at 10 a.m. to meet Lauren Bush Lauren and have your bag signed.”

tuesday twist

So, I’ve gotten in the habit of posting links on Tuesdays but today I’ve decided to shake things up and do something else. Why not?

I had a fun and interesting blogging-world experience on my lunch break today as my friend Steph “soon to be my publicist” and I headed to Holts for the launch of their new blog Holts Musewhich doesn’t seem to be online yet – and a meet-and-greet with blogger The Man Repeller.

We weren’t too sure what to expect but the vibe was great! Holts did up the space with vignettes of Man Repeller approved garments and accessories and it was also over flowing with a myriad of very passionate and interestingly styled bloggers and blogerettes.

From a distance we muttered OH MY GOD she is so cute, so cute. And she was. She was also a doll in person – very sweet and demure – and happy to oblige a photograph with me.

Post meet with the Man Repeller (ok her name is Leandra Medine) my new publicist and I decided that we definitely need to spice up our wardrobes. Project Spice it Up. This includes more fur in our lives, followed by cords, sparkly flats, high high heels, lots of brightly coloured silk (obv), suede, accessories, accessories, accessories and basically an overall overhaul of everything. I can tell you that my hubby was really excited to hear I want a new closet full of clothes…
